Brett Investment - Enjoy the Journey

Whatever we do – let’s not miss this trip!

Let’s imagine that we’re on a train journey of several days and we know that at the end of the trip there will be a big wonderful party with a great band, flags will be waving and all our friends/family will be waiting there for us.

It is going to be a wonderful experience once we actually get there.

But just imagine those long days on the train, imagine us being too pre-occupied with getting there, pacing up and down the aisles, counting the miles and ticking off the stations we pass through, imagine getting impatient thinking about this wonderful experience to be had at the end of the line.

…But all the time missing the beautiful scenery along the way of our journey!

Isn’t this sometimes a bit like life? I know, speaking for myself, I can get caught up in thinking about the future and how much better it is going to be BUT often forgetting about NOW and living it as best I can.

So many of us can get caught up in the striving and never arrive at our imaginary station we simply call ‘being happy.’

You’ve heard me say before that life, your life, my life, is NOT a rehearsal. The clock is ticking…

There is no future time when life is going to be wonderful. Life being wonderful can begin right now!

Have a fantastic 2015
