A Bettr World & Community

Jan 12, 2024 | BettrWorld, Brett Investment, Community, Donating, Humanitarian, Nick Alston

As part of our responsibility as a successful business, we have (since 2021) committed to donating 1% of our business turnover to local and global humanitarian and environmental causes.

These include the WWF, the Olena Zelenska Foundation, Afghanaid, Green Tweed Eco, Radio Borders Cashback For Kids, My Name’5 Doddie, Lauder Foodbank, … plus many, many more.

This year we have committed to support the following causes:

  • Bright Green Nature – a local charity who work hard to restore and preserve ‘natural places’.
  • British Red Cross (Israel & Occupied Palestinian Territory Appeal) – an organisation providing aid with vital medical supplies, food, water, milk and nappies for children, and tents.
  • Ocean Conservation – a global organisation working tirelessly to clean up and create healthier oceans.
  • My Name’5 Doddie – Leaving no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit for a cure for motor neuron disease. Their goal is simple: ‘A world free of MND’.
  • Radio Borders (Cash For Kids) – a local charity based in the Scottish Borders. They respond to the needs of children living in our communities. These children may have additional support needs, suffer from illness or be living in poverty.

We understand that we have a responsibility to our community, the world and environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements and we will continue to support causes helping to make an impact.
